The Spitting Pig Central team catered for a wedding in Burford this summer. Despite the threat of rain clouds in the morning, by the time of the ceremony the weather was set fair. The bride looked stunning in a cream fishtail dress with hand sewn sequins on her train. The bridesmaids were all tiny and dressed in palest pink with baskets of white flowers. The team served canapés in the garden together with a reception drink of Pimms. This was followed by a spit roasted pig with all the trimmings together with a spit roasted lamb, new potatoes in minted butter and a magnificent choice of salads. The wedding cake was a tier of cupcakes which were served as dessert.
More guests arrived in the evening and we served a simple barbecue of burgers, sausages, and ribs to 150 invitees. Having cleared all our debris from the site we left the party to carry on into the night.
The Spitting Pig teams cover the whole of the county and we have certainly visited most of the bigger towns several times over the years.
